The Collective 1867 is a creative marketing agency and lifestyle brand rooted in the celebration of Black joy, community, and culture. Founded at Howard University, we specialize in curating high-impact experiences, building culturally resonant brands, and crafting viral moments that speak directly to Black Gen Z and Millennials with taste, influence, and power.

At our core, we are more than event curators—we are cultural architects. Through immersive nightlife, elevated apparel drops, dynamic brand activations, and strategic storytelling, we sell more than products or parties—we sell the feeling of being seen. Our work lives at the intersection of entertainment, strategy, and soul, with an unwavering commitment to centering and uplifting Black voices.

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., with an expanding presence in New York City, the Bay Area, and across the South, we curate experiences and campaigns in HBCU communities and cultural hubs nationwide. Now officially operating as an LLC, The Collective 1867 is entering a new era—evolving from party promoters into a full-service digital creative agency offering marketing, content production, brand strategy, and experience design.

As part of this evolution, we proudly introduce MILF—our offshoot brand dedicated to all things 21+ and alternative. Standing for Music, Indulgence, Lifestyle, and Film, MILF serves as a more intimate and indulgent extension of The Collective, blending high-end vibes with subversive edge. MILF is where nightlife meets nuance, and grown Black joy lives without apology.
